Saddleworld 2014 Brisbane CDI - Day 2 Reveals New Stars

Brisbane CDI Program

Gusty winds threatened to spoil the day 2 fun, but dressage fans from far and wide were determined to take in the excellent organisation, international quality venue and the opportunity to watch a collection of the best FEI horses in Australia as well as some very promising combinations, coming up the grades and noting their intention to be part of future Australian Olympic teams.

The face of Queensland equestrian sport received an enormous lift when the Caboolture State Equestrian Centre was completed a few years ago. State Championships in all disciplines and this all important CDI, now attract competitors and spectators from outside Queensland and all participants enjoy the first class facilities and wonderful Queensland sunshine.

Congratulations to all winners and placegetters in the day 2 classes. With the weekends highlights still to come, the crowd numbers are expected to be very strong for Saturday night with the freestyle to music event along with fine food and fantastic entertainment. The traders are looking to give shoppers a memorable "shop til you drop" experience. The Saddleworld 2014 Brisbane CDI has spared nothing to ensure that that lovers of the sport have a great time and return in 2015.

Spectators are treated to special consideration as entry to the event - even on Saturday night - is FREE.

Event Director, Cathie Drury-Klein said, "We are keen to give the public a great event and encourage them to make the Saddleworld Brisbane CDI, a part of their Dressage year ... for many years to come."

As the main name sponsor, Saddleworld has helped to make the event possible and their signage has added atmosphere and identifies the involvement of all 41 stores around Australia.

Saddleworld's Toowoomba, Nerang and Gympie stores have teamed up to bring the biggest and best Saddleworld Trade stand at the competition and they look forward to meeting up with customers and friends of dressage.
