Fiderfurst takes off two Queensland Dressage Awards

Congratulations to Saddleworld Gympie proprietors Lars and Madonna Hedberg (left) and their Arnage Warmblood Stud in the Mary Valley.

The outstanding success of their imported Warmblood stallion Fiderfurst was acknowledged at the Queensland Dressage Awards night on Saturday 5th December 2014 at the Caxton Hotel in Brisbane.

Against the very best horses in the state in the two most strongly contested classes the outstanding  young sire Fiderfurst took off the awards for Novice Horse of the Year and Newcomer Horse of the Year.

Madonna said, “This is a huge thrill as it vindicates the commitment and investment in our decision to breed top quality horses here in Australia. Big thanks must go to Fiderfurst for stepping up at the big competitions and thanks and acknowledgement go to his very talented rider Emma Flavelle who has shared this exciting journey with us.”

Madonna explained, “Fiderfurst was imported from Germany in 2013 as a 4 year old and is a Premium Licensed and Performance tested Hanoverian Stallion. He stands at our stud Arnage Warmbloods and will be commencing Elementary and Medium level competition in 2015.
