The 2015 Saddleworld Dressage Festival will be held at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre, and this year's action is shaping up to be a bigger, better and brighter celebration of the best Australian dressage.

The 4 days from the 10-13th December will herald-in the festive season and showcase lots of great Christmas shopping with special gifts for your favourite two and four legged friends!  You will get to relax and make the most of the seasonal fun with friendly dressage fans who share your passion for beautiful horses, great riding, a fantastic atmosphere and legendary hospitality – this is the perfect way to countdown to Christmas and farewell the year 2015.

The Saddleworld 2015 Dressage Festival is a particularly important lead up to the Rio Olympic Games next year, as the FEI Pacific League World Cup Final will help Australian Selectors to identify the home based combinations worthy of wearing the Aussie flag on their Olympic saddle cloth!  Much rests on the outcome of Saturday night’s Freestyle to music.

The Saddleworld Dressage Festival will incorporate the Victorian Dressage Championships and the title “Victorian Champion” is an acclaimed addition to the winners’ CV, as we honour the achievements of the class champions for the next 12 months.

The event will also include the Victorian Young Horse & Pony Championships and the exciting Marcus Oldham Aachen Challenge for riders 25 years and under.  The prize is a trip to Aachen, Germany to develop riding and competition skills. Previous winners have gained experience and established contacts that have had a positive impact on their career in the dressage industry

This year’s event will proudly introduce HRCAV classes, which have been organised by the Macclesfield Adult Riding Club.  These classes will take place on Sunday 13th December and are sure to be great fun.

The 2015 program will again feature classes for our sensational Para Equestrians … and as we count down to Rio, they will be looking to bring the gold back home!  Be sure to show your support.
